My mother, Suzanne Slowik has been fighting a very aggressive form of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) for 9 years.
  
For most of those, she has been fighting with the help of the doctors, nurses, and support staff at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.

I am happy to report that my mom is currently in a Phase 1 clinical trial that has made all the difference!

Her energy levels are up and she is able to enjoy each day, no matter if she spends it playing with her granddaughters, tending to her garden or dancing the night away on her 60th birthday! None of these things would have been possible just 8 months ago.
